Celebration Sunday - A Celebration of Praise

Pastor Verne preaching from Psalm 117, “A Celebration of Praise.” Though this is the shortest Psalm, we are pointed towards the praiseworthiness of God. This praise is expansive. All people are included. This praise is also exclusive. The LORD is the One we are to praise. This praise is to be exuberant. We are to “laud” the LORD which is done openly and publicly for others to hear. This praise is experiential because of the LORD’s loyal and covenantal love for us. This praise is established upon the truth of the LORD that extends to eternity.

This Sunday, we’ll give glory to God for His person and His personal blessings to us.
