We are a Worshiping Church

Our summer series is focused on the ingredients of a God honoring Church. This Sunday, we’ll learn that we are a worshiping church. Worship is woven throughout the entirety of Acts. We see God’s people bending over and bowing down before the Lord in surrender and submission. As Christians, we are to hear, listen to, and follow Jesus. Acts 2:47 indicates that the church was engaged in, “praising God.” The method of worship is praise to God by the people of God. The measurement of worship is the participation and involvement of God’s people ascribing worth and speaking and singing about the excellencies of God along with the benefits we have received.
