The Humble Joy of Contentment - Part 2

Contentment is the context of this final section in the Apostle Paul’s letter to the church at Philippi. Contentment is a spiritual trust in the sovereignty, omniscience, and love of God that produces the fruits of joy, peace, and thanksgiving in the Christian. We’ll discover that contentment is learned (4:11-12a). Contentment includes every situation of life (4:12b). And contentment is strengthened by Christ Himself (4:13). This is the secret of contentment that goes beyond your circumstances, is available to you, and applies to every season of life.
