The Humble Joy of Prayer - Part 2

Pastor Verne preaching from Philippians 4:6, “The Humble Joy of Prayer” (Part 2). Last Sunday, we learned the emphatic teaching that we are to be anxious for nothing. That is very challenging to apply. God’s remedy to worry and fear is faith and trust, which is directly connected with prayer. The three key words prayer, supplication, and requests are highlighted. We’ll learn the importance of surrendering in prayer, specifically praying, and the sum total of praying about everything. How thankful we are that “the LORD’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, that is cannot hear” (Isaiah 59:1).
