Hope in God's Word - 1st Thessalonians 2:13

Pastor Verne will preaching on, “Hope in God’s Word” from First Thessalonians 2:13. The Bible is one big book containing 66 books. The Bible is the Word of God and contains words from God to us. The model of the Thessalonian church was that they received the Word of God. This verse teaches us that there are two building blocks that we are to build our lives upon. We are to trust in God’s Word and then, we will be transformed by the Word of God. We have the responsibility to read the Bible, understand what God is saying to us, and respond with believing and obeying. The truth of the Bible is a cause for our faith in God and thanksgiving to God.
