Laboring Hope

Pastor Verne preaching from 1st Thessalonians 2:9-10 on, “Laboring Hope.” Last Sunday, we learned the first priority of service, which is tender affection (2:7-8). This Sunday, we’ll learn about the next two priorities, which are tireless activities (2:9) and thoughtful application (2:10). Jesus is the greatest servant of all (Mark 10:45; Philippians 2:7-8) and He is our example to serve the LORD our God (Matthew 4:10) and to serve one another in love (Galatians 5:13). May we give careful attention to the learning and living out of God’s truth as we follow Jesus
